Last November CURL began a new interlending project. The rich research resources of CURL libraries will be shared among project participants using RLG's RLIN and ILL Manager systems, accessing the CURL Database and COPAC as the means of resource discovery. The fifteen libraries participating are all members of RLG Shares and the group forms a small CURL-Shares subset.
The project focuses on monographs, although not exclusively, and builds on the lessons learned from the 1997 Inter-lending project. Traffic so far has been relatively light though usage is expected to increase as the project gathers momentum.
