ISCA
The International Scholarly Communications Alliance (ISCA) is an amalgam of over 600 research libraries spanning Australia, Canada, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong SAR, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. Its aim since February 2000 has been to promote a more equitable route across international boundaries to the scholarly publications of the academic research community, and to engage in active partnership with the scholar-author to make the fruits of research more accessible. Above all it seeks in concert to transform the current relations in scholarly publishing in order to bring about greater advantages for the academic community itself.
