The following is a summary of the various CURL jiscmail lists including information about how to join. All lists except those for specific groups are open to any member of staff in a CURL library.
General
curl-all
This is a superlist for the wider dissemination of information: messages sent to curl-all reach anyone who is a member of one of the other CURL lists.
curl-staff
A list for members of staff in all areas of CURL libraries. General messages relating to CURL activity are posted on this list. It is largely for dissemination of information and general discussion.

Subject lists
There are a number of lists devoted to particular areas of interest. These are intended for discussion rather than as a means of dissemination of information and are aimed at staff who are heads of relevant departments and others who wish to contribute to discussions.
curl-cats
A list for heads of cataloguing and other interested individuals in CURL institutions to discuss issues relating to Record Retrieval including MARC conversion, harmonisation etc.
Open to all staff in CURL libraries working in the area of cataloguing who wish to contribute to discussion in these areas.

A closed discussion list for resource management-related issues to support the CURL Resource Management Task Force.

A closed discussion list for members of the Management team for the Revelation Plus project.

A closed discussion list for members of the CURL Resource Discovery and Description Steering Group to discuss issues relating to COPAC and the CURL Record Retrieval service and to complement the formal meetings of the group.

A closed discussion list for RLN-related issues to support the CURL Research Libraries Network Task Force.

A closed discussion list for issues relating to staff development within CURL institutions.

A closed discussion list for scholarly communication-related issues to support the CURL Scholarly Communications Task Force .
Other lists
curl-users
Open to all members and non-members of CURL who use the CURL Record Retrieval service. Messages about addition of new data, system outage, delayed record loading and other information affecting usage of the Record Retrieval service are posted on this list.
