DPC

The Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) was founded in 2001, with the aim of securing the preservation of digital resources in the UK and to work with others internationally to secure our global digital memory and knowledge base. RLUK became a member of the DPC in September 2002, with Full Member status. RLUK has worked with colleagues from the DPC to promote the latter's work, and disseminate to RLUK Members its guidance, highlight its promotional activity, and announce news on workshops. The collaboration between RLUK and the DPC has also been conducted through RLUK's previously active group in this area the Task Force on Digital Content Creation & Curation. The current RLUK representative on the DPC Board is RLUK's Deputy Executive Director Mike Mertens
