01 May 2009 - RLUK-sponsored event, The Data Imperative: Libraries and Research Data

This workshop was organised by the RLUK/SCONUL e-Research Task Force in association with the Oxford e-Research Centre and the Research Information Network.

Aimed at subject librarians, e-resource and repository managers, and research support librarians (and anyone else in academic libraries with an interest in research data), this free event explored the outcomes from the recent UK Research Data Service feasibility study and explore some of the workforce and skills issues relating to research data management as they affect libraries.
