Dear Colleagues
RLUK and Preservation Advisory Centre are pleased to share with you the
news that Alison Faraday has been appointed to the post of Preservation
Training Coordinator for the RLUK/BL preservation learning programme. She will
start at the Preservation Advisory Centre on 29th March 2010. Alison has
provided some information about herself below.
Alison will take forward the learning programme for 2010-11 and 2011-12;
building on the research to which you all contributed last summer and the
experience gained from the first six events which ran between December 2009
and March 2010. We are keen that Alison gets the chance to meet with some
of you in person early on, and talk to you about your work. Would any of you
be available for Alison to come and visit you for about an hour in April? If so,
please email caroline.peach@bl.uk to discuss/arrange a date.
Alison is looking forward to her new role and the opportunity to build on the
achievements of the learning programme to date. I will add her to this JISC-
list and she will introduce herself, with full contact details, when she starts at
the end of March.
Best regards
Caroline
