RLUK Conference 2010: Edinburgh
RLUK is pleased to announce that registration is open for the Second RLUK Conference to be held in Edinburgh, 10-12 November 2010, at the Raddison Blu Hotel on the Royal Mile.
Based on a theme of innovation in a time of financial challenge, the Conference will feature a programme of outstanding presentations, interactive parallel sessions, and a fast-paced 'pecha kucha' session highlighting new, innovative library projects, together with great networking opportunities and Edinburgh hospitality. The conference will also see the development of the RLUK mentoring programme.
Our two Keynote speakers, Professors Geoff Crossick and Dan Greenstein, book-end the Conference, setting out visions of the future of the HE sector in the UK and beyond, and detailing the challenges faced by the library community and the opportunities opening-up to develop new ways of working and define new roles
We hope that participants will find the Conference informative, challenging, stimulating, and entertaining. Please register at http://www.rluk.ac.uk/node/597 Submission for the pecha kucha session can be made at http://www.rluk.ac.uk/node/635
