EThOS (Electronic Theses Online Service) project
The EThOS (Electronic Theses Online Service) project involves the development of a fully operational, easily scaleable and financially viable prototype UK e-theses online service that will enable end-users, via one single web interface, to access the full text, in secure format, of electronically stored theses after selection from a UK Database of Theses (UKDoT). The service will enable HE institutions, in partnership with the British Library, to ensure a much higher level of national and international visibility for the UK postgraduate research output, as well as its preservation in perpetuity.
