• To formulate a strategy for RLUK on the development of resource discovery services in the context of the UK and global resource discovery environment
• To identify the consequent roles and development paths for COPAC and the CURL database
• To develop a strategy for the short to medium term operational management of COPAC/the RLUK database
• To have an oversight role with regard to the other extant RLUK-related resource discovery projects and services below
