27 October 2005 - NEW CURL PROJECTS

CURL's latest projects include major pathfinding developments in online research and ICT support, which tie in to the increasing convergence of resource discovery and delivery, and the impact of e-Research and e-Science across academic subject disciplines.

17 October 2005 - CURL AUTUMN MEMBERS' MEETING

The Members meeting, held at the IMechE, focussed on CURL's major projects and especially its strategic themes and partners for the following 3 years. Presentations from sister organizations the JISC and the RIN, alongside CURL's own developments, are now available.

UNIVERSITY OF LEEDS (6 October 2004)

The University of Leeds has appointed Margaret Coutts as its new Librarian and Keeper of the Brotherton Collection.  She is currently Director of Information Services and Librarian at the University of Kent at Canterbury, and will join Leeds in early 2005.  Please see:

CURL/JISC INVITATION TO TENDER (19 August 2004)

CURL and JISC have issued a joint invitation to tender for a study to assess the current provision of digitised (excluding born-digital) collections for UK-based researchers in the HE area across all subject disciplines.  The invitation to tender is available on the JISC website

CURL MEMBERSHIP (11 August 2004 )

Cardiff University has become a Member of CURL, effective from 1 August 2004
