Scholarship and learning are international. We are enriched by the connections we make with scholars, students and institutions around the globe – enabling us to address the big technical, environmental and societal challenges we face and to help build a better world.

The collections our members hold are treasuries containing knowledge from every part of the world, across time and in hundreds of languages. They help us to know ourselves, to comprehend what it means to be human, and to understand our global neighbours. Scholars and students from around the world are welcomed to our collections, just as scholars and students from the UK go out into the world to share expertise and understanding.

RLUK restates its commitment to work with all of our colleagues internationally, and especially our friends in the European Union, to further scholarship and education and to build a better understanding of our shared human experience.
