When: 3-4 November 2016

    • Attendance for this event is free but is restricted to RLUK members only. Each RLUK member institution will be allocated a maximum of two delegate places.
    • The University of Cambridge will be hosting a tour of the library on Friday 4 November, but numbers are limited so please register early to guarantee a place
    • We have a limited number of rooms on hold at Arundel House Hotel, Cambridge (Directions) which are offered on a first come, first served basis.

Preparing for the Post Big-Deal World

This session will look at ways in which the UK could ensure a more robust infrastructure that would allow for a move away from big deal purchasing for journal content. It will use the recent analysis of ‘Plan B’ modeling in relation to the Elsevier Negotiations as a starting point.
