Corpus Christi College, Cambridge (UK) seeks to appoint a Director for the Parker Library from 1 October 2019 (or as soon as possible thereafter). The successful candidate will hold the post of Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Fellow Librarian. The Director/Librarian will be responsible for the overall management of the Parker Library and be engaged in furthering research and teaching associated with its internationally significant collection. The Director/Librarian will be responsible for pursuing strategies for integrating the Parker Library into the research environment of the University, and for developing research projects capable of attracting external funding.

The Parker Library is the College’s most valuable national heritage asset. It plays a key part in the College’s strategic ambition to attract substantial new benefactions. The Director/Librarian will be expected to work closely and enthusiastically with the College’s and the University’s Development and Alumni Relations Offices and the Master, Professor Christopher Kelly.
