The theme for the speed presentation session at the 2014 Conference is ‘Innovation in our Libraries’. We want to showcase the exciting new ideas and projects being implemented or planned in your libraries.

Speed presentations are fast-paced and  highly visual, with speakers restricted to 20 slides at exactly 20 seconds per slide (six minutes and 40 seconds in total).
A prize will be awarded to the best presentation, as voted for (discreetly) by the conference audience. All presentations will be recorded and published on RLUK’s Youtube channel after the conference (with permission).

Proposals for participation in the Speed Presentation session should be submitted by e-mail to  Melanie.Cheung@rluk.ac.uk by 5 September 2014. Your submission should include the presentation title and a brief description of your proposed presentation. A cross-section of submissions will be selected and authors will be notified with enough time to prepare and register for the Conference.

Speakers do not need to be from RLUK universities, but will need to register as delegates for one or more days of the conference.
