James Anthony-Edwards has been appointed as the new Head of Library at the University of Exeter. James will be taking up his post on 4 February 2019.
James is moving to Exeter from the University of Wolverhampton, where he has headed-up the Library within a converged service since 2016, building the Library’s research capacity while also overseeing the procurement and integration of a new Library Management System.

The University of Reading has appointed Stuart Hunt as their new Director of University Library and Collections Services and University Librarian. Stuart will take up the post with effect from 7 January 2019.
Stuart Hunt has been Deputy Director of Library Services at the University of Bristol since 2016, and has a background in university libraries and previously worked in senior roles in both research-intensive Russell Group universities as well as post-1992 institutions in the UK.

Janet Peters will be retiring from Cardiff University at the end of December, after 13 years as Director of Library Services and University Librarian. Tracey Stanley, who is currently Deputy University Librarian, has been asked to take on the Director role from 1 January for 12 months, and her Deputy from 7 January will be Gareth Owen, currently WHELF LMS Programme Manager, also for 12 months.
