RLUK joined The European Library in August 2013. This partnership will see the ingestion of data from RLUK member libraries into The European Library portal, exposing their collections and intellectual output to a worldwide audience. RLUK members are eligible to participate in all working groups, meetings and conferences and campaigns organised by The European Library.
RLUK member representatives in The European Library
Each RLUK member will have to nominate a member of staff to act as their formal representative for The European Library activities who will be responsible for:
- circulating and promoting The European Library related news to colleagues in their institution
- coordinating activities for the The European Library campaigns
- act as a main point of contact for related The European Library queries/requests
Communications for RLUK-The European Library activities will be conducted on Basecamp. RLUK representative details should be sent to Melanie Cheung.
