RLUK supports the call from UUK’s Copyright Negotiating and Advisory Committee (CNAC) for the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) to extend their relaxation of Higher Education Licence terms during the COVID-19 crisis.

David Anderson-Evans, Chair of CNAC, has urged the CLA to reconsider their decision to end the relaxation of the key terms of the licence after 30 June, in consideration of the fact that institutions will be operating under special measures for the foreseeable future, with reduced resources, necessitating the continuation of the temporary extension to the licence.
